Fuzzy lo-fi garage pop/indie rock/power pop bla bla bla, psych/punk touches. Muddy, slurry, and above all catchy. Oregon DIY; the homemade jacket should be a big tip off to its sound. A bit post-punky. cool bass lines. These guys are crafting songs, not just hitting genre stereotypes. Compilation of tracks from cassettes over 5 years; they're on Woodsist now. No track lengths available; pay attention/look at the grooves.
RIYL: GBV, Eat Skull, the Intelligence, the Mallard, Pavement
1 Pounding guitar line, midtempo, "whoa oh oh whoa oh oh oh oh oh" vox
*2 Spooky psych touch, just a bit gothic, spider web of a bass line
3 Bouncy, surfy motif
4 A bit slower and psychier; Carlton Melton goes pop. solo at end
*5 Total slacker/cassette tape tribute. feels disconnected but never clashes, simple riff
6 Slowwww, fuzzy guitar strums and a melancholy vibe
7 Keys, rainy bass open; country bluesy, very much like Silver Jews, particularly the vox
*8 Loud organ open, driving psychy, totally obscured vox, yelps, organ grooves. super 1967. Long (~6-7 minutes)
9 Catchy rhythm. straightforward pop
10 Fuzzy. distorted guitars; Sabbath riffs in second half but this is a pop song. "Minor key" if I know what that means
*11 Uptempo dancy drum beat, cheap beer and cigarettes; poppy, punky, catchy
12 Slow, slacky with stony psych guitar n bass. Vox spoken at end
