Non-Western noise? Chill. Rediscovered tapes from 1999. Very odd, but beautiful. AWESOME variety of "instruments" from accordion to didjeridu to conch to stuff I don't even recognize the name of.
****1. (7:13) Gorgeous. Pretty much rhythmless. Just Gorgeous.
2. (7:03) Indiana Jones might hear this walking into an ancient Tibetan temple. You'd better get the idea.
***3. (5:35) A little more rhythm than the others. Gets really quiet towards end.
*4. (5:11) Insanely creepy. Very high-pitched stuff. Sounds like wind blowing through a canyon full of wolves and seagulls.
***5. (7:10) Pretty creepy, somber. Lots of eerie brass.
**6. (23:17) Dominant drone, both high and low. Gets dissonant at points.
