Earlyw~rm – Dub Device

Rubbery electronic dub Reggae from Toronto. Both roots rockers and post-dub, somehow. Rubbery and fuzzy, mostly downtempo. Great for soundbeds or for playing lots of, front and center. All tracks similar and all very good. Few hints of vocals, no FCCs.
1. 4:03 **slightly downtempo roots one-drop, dubby and echo-laden.
2. 3:56 ***downtempo, lilting bubble with scratcher and hissy things. Lots of fun little dub additives.
3. 4:07 ***downtempo bubble, grunty and scratch.
4. 3:18 ***deep and echo-y. Syndrum, nom nom noms.
5. 3:46 ***spoken word intro, slow one-drop, ponderous yet squeepy.
6. 4:00 ***super-slow, ultra-dubby with bits of piano bubble.
7. 4:17 **slow triumphal march with a bit of groovy wiggle.
8. 3:13 **downtempo, but jolly in a somewhat demented way.
9. 4:00 ***slow, grunty, buzzy, metallic insectisoid, lovely.
10. 4:00 **uptempo! And upbeat. And very rubbery. Bits of nonsense vocals.
11. 4:24 ***downtempo very swingy bubble, with bits of vocals saying “Work the Dub” over and over.
