Shoegazing noise pop from Minneapolis. Deep buried male vox usually lead, on the songs with F backing that's really not that much further in the back. Lots of psych touches on the guitars- they warble and distort but without disturbing the shoegazey aesthetic that falls on the arty side of post-punk. Just as dreamy as you'd expect. Play anything here; I really like all of it.
RIYL: Gospel Gossip (on band's label), Bent Shapes, Pure Bathing Culture, Dead Leaf Echo, MBV
*1 (2:38) Ringing tremoloed guitars, midtempo, pulsating bassline, high backing F oohs
2 (3:05) A wave of cool water, slow poppy vox, really pleasant to hear
3 (2:22) Darker but psych touches keep it summery, F lead vox, stacks of trem, crashing cymbals
4 (1:22) Instrumental; eerie distorted guitar over synths
*5 (2:36) Louder, dream poppy
*6 (2:43) Upbeat, jangly, lead vox split M/falsetto F, really nice grooving pop. Unfortunately the next track starts fading in with 3 seconds left.
7 (2:03) Ambient instrumental; just one or two droning organy synths
8 (4:25) Slow, a little stony, F leads, western/surfy guitar touches. Ending note carries into next song/ends abruptly
*9 (4:02) Quiet, strummed acoustic joins, F vocal coos, dreamy, almost ambient in its quietness and consistency
