Hushed and moody new release from accomplished trio. Ethereal folk
music that draws the listener in, for the most part.
1 – (2:02) Once And Gone* Mid-tempo, pretty acoustic music, lovely.
2 – (4:03) Forever Mine* Mid-up, pretty instrumental fade out to song.
3 – (3:00) Black, Black Water Solid duet vocals, sweet mandolin.
4 – (3:35) Paddle The Torrens* Nice fiddle & mandolin instrumental, leads
continuously into next track.
5 – (4:20) Ocean Floor* Simple, achingly beautiful song of regret & longing.
6 – (4:37) Traveler’s Song Vocal duet, a bit plodding.
7 – (0:40) Midnight Ferry Short instrumental interlude.
8 – (3:34) Wide Eyed Immigrant Pretty nice ballad, instrumental outtro.
9 – (2:39) Love And Other Errors Slower paced ballad, pretty harmonies.
10 – (3:02) Ride & Sway Catchy up-tempo mandolin & guitar instrumental.
11 – (3:10) Boxcar Boys* Up-tempo, mariachi band-like feel.
12 – (5:58) Fly* Lovely textures, picks up tempo, closes with dreamy
Celtic-style playing.
