Really weird new release from local experimental sound wizard, two sides of noodling around with Mills College’s Buchla Box prototype at their Center for Contemporary Music. Blurred, skronky squiggles of distorted beats and electric bird chirping nightmares. RIYL cool stuff, sounds, imagination
Side A (14:30) looping, discordant swirls of buzzing and chirping sounds, like a bunch of wind-up toys possessed by demons
Side B (14:37) more rhythmic loops, sparse drum machine beats but more abrasive, ponderous abstraction overall, lots of bizarre drones and laser-beam timbres
