This album straddles the line between Dark Ambient and Rhythmic Noise to great effect. Kind of a power electronics vibe at times with the vocal monologues. The whole affair is slow, deliberate, and alternatively dark and beautiful. I read someone call this album "rumbling blackened synthcrush" and I thought that fits perfectly. Released on the mighty Crucial Blast, this is a solid album for fans of slow experimental synth / ambient. Released Oct 15 2013.
.) (4:32) Dark Ambient with a lop-sided beat. Background chants.
.) + (5:13) Droning light synth ambient with subtle choral moans. Dark but ethereal. VERY LIGHT rhythms creep in near the end. Possible Minimum Entropy.
.) + + + (8:02) Light rhythmic noise with a lightly distorted beat and subtle weird noises…like if you scratched a piece of metal with electricity in such a way to make a bird sound…also vaguely industrial droning sounds. Fades out at 7:30.
.) + (4:04) Epic feeling synth ambient with a really sparse slow electronic beat and ephemeral female vox. Synth Shoegaze Feeling - INDIE / GENERAL FOLKS CHECK THIS ONE OUT!!! Last 10 seconds are silence.
.) + (5:38) Slowly pulsing dark ambient with echoing female monologue buried in the mix. Super sparse beat enters the fray near the end.
.) + + + (4:49) Lo-fi old-school industrial darkness with jaded female vox and creepy whispers over one-note synth drone and looping lopsided clanking machinery beat. Starts fade out at 4:15.
.) + + (6:18) Looping noise pulse, slow moving synths, and reverberating deadpan female monologue. Strange and beautiful. No beat.
.) + + (8:05) Slow and sparse dark-ish ambient with effected-but-understandable female monologue. Builds into lush film-score-esque ambient with a distorted slow muffled syncopated electronic beat.
