Khalas (Arabic for ‘Enough’) is a Arab Israeli rock band that blends classical Arab genres and approaches (taqasim and maqamat) and instruments (like the oud and darabukka) with a heavy metal sound inspired by AC/DC and Black Sabbath. On this CD they have recorded unique versions of classic songs by Muhammad Abdelwahab, Om Kulthum, Farid El Atrash and others.
