Solid stuff from Detroit-based guitarist w/ a collection of all originals except #3 (from The Band). Good R’n’R w/ blues, r&b, rootsy elements. Many guests including Jim Keltner on drums, Jimmy Vivino on gtr. Recorded live to two-track w/ no overdubs, edits. Strong throughout. No FCC’s.

2. *(5:24) Mid. R&B flair w/ horns, B3.
3. (4:39) Mid. The Band’s ‘Ophelia’. Nice faithful take.
4. *(6:08) Mid. Bluesy rocker w/ great gtr, drums.
5. (4:56) Slow / Mid. Bluesy mourner w/ solid gtr solo.
6. *(3:46) Mid. Sparse acoustic w/ nice soloing.
