Experimental analog moog synth compositions bordering on avante by founder of German psyche/Krautrock band Brainticket. Predominately electronic, old school, with occasional piano. “Inspired by the paintings of H.R. Geiger” these pieces have a dark dissonant disjunct feel. The old Moog sound is distinct, retro, that of 1950’s “outer space” bad sci fi flicks. But it harkens to a day when all early “electronic music” sounded this way (riyl Tangerine Dream, early Alan Parsons, works on the sackbut). Pieces with piano border on avante, some others just noodling-with-an-old-Moog. Radio friendly lengths, easily fit into any set if only as a soundbed.
1) (4:33) deep aquatic bubbling tones with amplitude modulated sawtooths, droney and hypnotic
2) (4:56) quiet start, a knocking percussive feel, some treated piano and bursts, sparse
3) (4:13) spacey trippy synths, swirl slowly
4) (3:03) treated piano string strikes (?) spacey synths burst about
5) (2:08)analog synthy bloopy fun
6) (1:44) heres the dreamy bliss out drone you ordered, too bad its so brief
7) (5:48) bloopy synth with crazed piano playing
8) (5:41) subtle melodies, dark spooky synths grow noisier, weird
9) (2:31) very “moog” freq modulaton + amp modulation fun, the thing of 1950’s “outer space” sounds
10) (2:24) getting even more outer spacey, sparser
11) (2:11) even more noodly feel
