Banjo legend Bill Emerson is playing just fine now, at age 76. Excellent
traditional bluegrass from the former member of the Country Gentlemen and
Jimmy Martin’s Sunny Mountain Boys.
– (2:52) Dancin’ Annie* Really nice love ballad, fine lead & harmony vocals.
– (3:10) The Only Wind That Blows Up-tempo track, decent.
– (4:27) Days When You Were Mine* Really fine lost-love song, mid, terrific.
– (2:42) State Line Ride* Fine up-tempo banjo instrumental, good playing.
– (3:24) Will A Light Be Shining Bright* Fine ¾ spiritual waltz, very nice.
– (2:20) A Face From Another Place* Good up-tempo tune, fine vocals.
– (3:10) Two Hands On The Wheel Lively up-tempo roadtrip song, decent.
– (4:13) Thank Him For The Miracle Good spiritual, well done.
– (2:41) Walkin’ After Midnight* Swinging cover of the Patsy Cline classic.
– (2:54) Whistle Stop* Up-tempo mandolin/banjo/fiddle/guitar instrumental.
– (3:35) This Heart You Have Broken Song of heartbreak, just so-so.
– (2:48) He Knows My Name* Up-tempo gospel tune.
