Frozen In Time - Music to Accompany the Films of Ingmar Bergman compilation
A compilation to enjoy in time with the given films of Ingmar Bergman. Each artist with a 20 minute contribution. As one would expect, it is a rather bleak affair, yet still stylistically varied between all the submissions. Curated and presented for maximum introversion and with ritualized playback in mind.
This is cassette I from the Frozen In Time compilation featuring Persistence in Mourning and Fear Konstruktor. The associated films and start-times are given in the track descriptions. GREAT STUFF!!!

Persistence in Mourning - Dualitet (A Modernist Horror)
To accompany the film Persona (starting at 00:47:00)
This track is gorgeous and perfect.
Slow sparse acoustic guitar over ambient with some light psychedelic noises, echoing whispered movie samples, and some male screams buried in the background mix. Tastefully dissonant electric guitar bendies. Very emotive. Around 7:30 the guitars have faded out and we're left with a droning tone, some ominous psych noises, and muffled distorted screams. 10:00 droooooone guitars ala Sunn O))) / Earth. Mellows out to a peaceful drone with faded movie samples. Some feedback enters around 14:00 and we return to the Sunn-style drone with slow drums. The riff kinda stomps around, which is great.

Fear Konstruktor - Walls of the Mind
To accompany the film Face to Face (starting at 00:29:27)
Light synth ambient with soft bells, gets darker. Some muffled rising synth twinkles. Slow moving strings at the end like distant fog horns. Dark but not too dark. Minimum Entropy?
