Crazy weird shit. Lyrics seemingly by 14 year old boys addicted to Beavis and Butthead, sexual potty themes galore. Music is like that of Schlong, Guaranteed Katch, Dick Panthers. But since the lyrics veer into lewd/obscene waters instead of simple profanity much of this is barely okay for safe harbor. Watch FCC warnings below. DO NOT PLAY 2, 3, 5, 7, 11 (OBSCENE)
A related aside: around 1986 then president Reagan underwent surgery to remove colon polyps. Anytime that old geezer ended up in the hospital the world held its breath, most of it not admitting publicly that they’d hope he wouldn’t come out. Evil as it sounds, it’s a testament to his “popularity”, why I can remember this, and why its striking that someone 30 years later would name their band this.
1) FCC Safe Harbor (4:48) great song, some “shits”
4) (1:51) white boy funk disco
6) (3:33) silly rock, noisy matter of fact sexual themes but not lewd
8) (3:56) FCC “fucky fuck” safe harbor, live takes on classic rock, smarmy spoofs, great
9) (4:20) white boy funk silliness
10) (5:32) funky rock, cool noisy synths in middle
12) (4:19) cool looped noise, sample is looped/layered and likely an FCC if it wasn’t indecipherable, heavy noisy synths
