psych/southern rock sound from new york. expect long, strung out guitar solos and really fascinating keyboard programming throughout. no FCCs (no lyrics at all). recommended if you like cream, psychier allman brothers.
1. 80’s electric organ riff below heavy, southern rock guitar. gets even weirder at 2:20 with greasy organ jam. psych guitar solo at 3:30, picks up speed toward the end and tears itself apart.
2. more repetitive guitar work with organ and sitar (?) backgrounded. splashy drums and background sounds more notable in the last half. some subtle moments when the drummer drops a note, like the song is trying to catch up to itself.
***3. the long one, miles above the first two. rhythm guitar holds the song together while two keyboards dialogue, one sounding like an accordion that never runs out of breath, the other a soaring, analog, space-age sound. middle dominated by high-pitched psych guitar solo.
