For many years before he passed, Levon held rambles, or ‘concerts’, at his barn in Woodstock. Here are some choice performances w/ an all-star cast, including Larry Campbell, Jimmy Vivino, Amy Helm, Teresa Williams, Little Sammy Davis, Chris Robinson, Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint. R’n’R, country, blues, soul vibes. Levon was drummer for The Band, the guys who backed Dylan when he went electric. This stuff is fantastic, not to be missed. Play any. No FCC’s.
