Accessible psyche from Sub Pop, with a nod to 60's, maybe Cambodia Rocks, or a certain afro Fela Kuti flare, though subtle. Female vocals, requisite eastern toned guitars, hypnotic simple song structures that dont go so far as Krautock as they do new agey Hari Krishna hippie circle. Fans of Dengue Fever, Lumerians, Prince Rama. Masked musicians that are "shrouded in legend" and reputed to be a "multi-generational collective of musicians from (an) isolated Swedish locality... north of the Arctic Circle" (I smell Seattle hipsters).
1) (6:40) quiet bell of mindfulness starts, picks up quickly into eastern flare guitar and bouncy upbeat with female vocs
2) (3:07) tribal tom tom tambourine beat, fuzzy bass and guitar
3) (2:58) fela kuti meets 60's psyche, but not really afro psyche
4) (2:30) new agey spoken statement at start, mellower with minor toned guitar
5) (4:02) 60's wah wah, with male vocs, kind of a Dengue Fever feel
6)* (4:46) a metaphysical statement in beginning, echoed, followed by a 60's rockin romp
7)* (3:37) eastern flared psyche, cool
8) (5:02) slower spacier acid drenched psyche, speeds up with a jam
9) (6:19) good upbeat rhythm, congas and hypnotic guitar
