Really outstanding release of mostly original country and bluegrass music.
Features incredible sidemen: Rob Ickes on dobro, Jenee Fleenor on fiddle &
vocals, and Scott Vestal on banjo/producer. Lots to like and play here.
1 – (2:54) Hard Hearted* Up-tempo lovesick tune, dark & fine.
2 – (3:20) Lucky* Great mid cover of Tom Petty song.
3 – (3:26) There’s No Place Like Home Decent duet vocals with Fleenor.
4 – (3:15) I Love To Be With You* Nice edgy love song, great.
5 – (4:16) The Red Oak Tree* Lovely slow somber song about mortality.
6 – (2:54) Walmart Checkout Line* Great sendup of Walmart shopping scene.
