Engaging mainstream alt rock/Metal fronted by the charismatic (and highly talented) Aaron Nordstrom. The guitar work of Rich Juzwick and Mike Salerno is pretty decent and while not the heaviest, it is still on par with most stuff you find on hot topic these days (yuck). However, the redeeming quality of this album are the melodic passages. For fans of Puddle of Mud, Mudvayne, Tool, etc.
No FCC’s
Recommended: 4 and 2.
1. (3:12) Soaring lead vocals, heavy riffs. ‘Commercial metal’ sounding, but quite decent (3.5 out of 5).
2. (4:20) Vocalist reminds us Maynard from Tool, but with a better range and repertoire. Music is surprisingly engaging. Very solid track (4 out of 5).
3. (3:08) Catchy chorus section and decent melodic vocal passages. The band knows exactly when a track will get repetitive and the end them right on time. (3.5 out of 5).
4. (3:56)Best track in this release, crushing opening and nicely morphs into a very melodic piece. Has some TesseracT edge to it. (4.5 out of 5)
