This is the third studio album from Ryan Hemsworth. He is a Canadian producer and electronic musician. This is the first of his albums that I have heard and I am super into it. Pretty mellow all around but still with great melodies and some cool cameos. RIYL: Disclosure, Daft Punk, M83
FCC Track 3, but I burnt an edited version.
Recommended tracks: I really like most of them, but track 3 is the best.
1. (3:29) Hurt Me - All electronic and almost playful and video game like sounds. Super cool. Then a distant and wispy voice sings “dont you hurt me” over and over.
2. (3:43) Walk Me Home (With Lontalius) - mid paced sad breakup song.
3. ****FCC FUCK. Edited out. (4:04) Snow In Newark (With Dawn Golden) - This is by far the best track on the album. I am currently addicted. There is an FCC but I edited it out (see the burnt disk). This melody is literally alway going through my head right now. Yet another breakup song, it is fabulous.
4. (2:20) Blemish - Sounds kind of like track 1, but shorter and with very little vocals. Cool little mid-album interlude.
5. (3:26) Too Long Here (With Alex G) - Not my favorite, a little annoying in the vocal department.
6. (5:01) Surrounded (With Kotomi & Doss) - This is my other favorite, kind of frantic, great guest appearances from Kotomi and Doss. Really cool song.
7. (5:31) By Myself (With The Btw & Little Cloud) - Awesome close to the album. Great beat, cool guest verses.
