1968 gem of mastermind behind Soft Machine: epic London psyche prog jazz rock. Uncovered material, 4 tracks that vary from rockin romps to way abstract. These guys were fusing jazz and rock/psyche in such advanced forms, a scene birthing John McLaughlin and likely Miles Davis' bitches brew epiphany/transformation. Importance of this stuff cannot be overestimated. Wyatt was the drummer. The band and members did many side projects, notably Matching Mole. Wyatt became paraplegic in an accident but this never slowed his production, switching to guitar and becoming a prolific singer songwriter into the Rough Trade post punk London era and to this day.
