General Description: Anne-Marie McDermott is an American pianist. This CD set is the result of a series of all-Haydn recitals she performed worldwide. The Odense Symphony Orchestra is located in Denmark. Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) was a contemporary (and friend) of Mozart and also trained under C.P.E. Bach. **Sonata Form consists of three distinct sections (exposition, development, recapitulation) where two ideas are explored according to set key (i.e. fixed tonal) relationships. The more you know about music theory, the more wonderful the experience.
