Known as the keyboards and words of the band Depeche Mode, his solo work is cinematic.
Individual tracks set strong moods and can be good bridges or pallet cleanser in DJ set.
Album as a whole is kinda boring because it's themes are fairly bleak and heavily medicated, like a broken
Portland Bicycle Ensemble. There is a beauty and whimsy to it like watching the graceful wind blow trash around a street.
The first 10 tracks from a dying world and the last 6 are the isolation of.. space? drugs?
Themes: Isolation, modernity, living in a mechanized world, dark, brooding.

All Instrumental (No FCCs)
Recommended Tracks 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, and 15.
1- (2:22) Short nice interlude.. Builds
2- (2:57) Twanging industrial debris, sinister decaying organ sounds
3- (4:31) Staccato white noise with rhythm with hostile metallic vibrations brooding breaks, tonality and swells
**4- (2:05) Some watery keyboard melody, reflective and relaxing, inset a tinnier keyboard melody.
Reminds me of watching water droplets form.
5- (3:05) Thumping industrial grind, pauses and pounds, then flicker-ticker beat makes me feel like I am
observing city traffic cycles.
**6- (3:16) Starts slow contemplative learns to build a rhythm and story with slightly more organic sounds.
7- (3:25) Stringy-bass rhythm, dark slightly tribal with automa-tronic sounds as little beacons. Then the
roaches run out the cave.
**8- (4:01) builds on last track, almost heartbeat sound building with fear or panic. Melodic noodles like
passing through time & space, slo.mo. breaks into sex groove. More time & space. Passage.
9- (4:16) Pensive, idle.
***10. (4:12) Mechanical, spacey, like being on a spaceship take off
***11. (3:18) Windy with electronic floaters. Deep space?
12. (4:17) Pounding engine noise, adventure in space
13. (3:17) Distance, time passing
14. (4:03) Moving into position for space docking, several converging keyboard melodies
*15. (2:32) Space transmissions translation station
16. (3:08) Slow bonky melody developing as the journey unfolds, passage.
