Third release from this quintet out of NYC. Bringing a tradition of the Balkans infused with a gypsy, punk, ska & soulful spirit. Full of energy & brass band passion– This is a funking good album, with a mellow side.
Like & in the spirit of: No Smoking Orchestra, Balkan Beat Box, Pig Bag, Ali Hassan Kuban, Gogol Bordello, Manu Chao, The Higsons.
No FCC’s (Instrumentals) Play any. Loving 1,5,8
1) Unify (3.41) Funky mid paced beat to start off. Happy.
2) Dren Gajda (4.13) More downcast, yet still puts a smile on your face.
3) Sugar And Salt (3.49) Not as jolly. A mild mannered marching stomp.
4) Sunken Angels (5.02) Sultry start then stays just as mellow.
5) With Every Drop That Falls (5.35) Slow & smooth.
6) Ivan’s Tune (3.31) Mid paced, toe tapping head nodder.
7) Bag Of Nails (4.06) The slowish type of track he want to hear after a long night out. Has a certain Latin quality.
8) Mirage (4.31) Laid back loveliness.
9) Club Mono (4.10) Arms around each other’s shoulders dancing in a circle. Mid paced
