Folksy Americana with a lo-fi experimental twist. Cello, guitars & more, combined with effects. Wonderful cassette release from Scissor Tail Records. All laid-back & easy on the ear. Great for any show or time of day.
Like: Andrew Tomasello, Laura Cetillia
Great stuff: Loving 2,9
No FCC’s (Instrumentals)
1) Method of Indirect Communication (5:02) Lovely mellow tune with aching cello accompaniment, stops in its tracks midway for a gathering storm like feel combined with maybe field recordings or effected fiddle instruments.
2) World Philosopher at Play (3:01) A delicate lament.
3) Graveyard Dead (3.42) Slow finger picking guitars.
4) The Butterfly As Companion (2.43) Cello richness.
5) Reporter From The Land Of Dreams (2.27) More upbeat with shades of acoustic Paul Weller.
6) Redreamer (3.44) Rural porch side sound.
7) On Foot (2.18) Effected looped sounds over a dreamy landscape.
8) Sudden Opera (4.13) Slowed down waltz, sort of, in two parts.
9) Mirage (2.59) Gut wrenching splendor.
10) No More Legends (5.08) All forces combined creating a barrage of sound. No quite “Bardo Pond” stripped down & elegant.
