Managerial Material is the official debut 7” single by Oakland’s The World. The prolific band has also produced several recordings in recent months, including a rare flexi-single and tape compilations, in addition to songs on soundcloud. Their sound is sax/guitar driven, upbeat art punk with mutant disco tendencies. I particularly loved the quality of this single – crude, accelerated and chaotic.
RIYL: Inflatable Boy Clams, The Bloods, Pink Section, The Mo-Dettes and Pulsallama.
