Excellent new work by duo who capture the embodiment of roots guitar based minimalism with soulful female vocals. Think White Stripes crossed with Portishead. Menacing guitar tone dominates the sound but a strong electro vibe pushes a lot of this into R&B soul. Fans of Detroit Cobras take note.
