(CLEAN) 04. De La Soul - TrainWreck - AOI Records: [95 BPM] This is the first leak from De La Soul’s latest LP due out later in 2016. It’s been an 11 year hiatus for an LP and what is noteworthy on this track and entire LP is in its production specifically their sampling source. De La decided to hire musicians and for three years they recorded jam sessions of music made essentially for them to sample. In essense making music by sampling your own stuff. Musically, the jazzy vibe and cow bell on this joint remind me of ‘People Under The Stairs.’ This is a dope organic track and I cannot wait for the LP. – M-SMOOTH
