Ana Calvi. Martha Davis/Motels come to mind for sure in this slick dark sultry dreamy female fronted rock. Anita Lane too. Great guitars, drums, sounds - one moment electro poppy the next Joy Division crossed with Hammock. Fans of dramatic rock a la Nick Cave, Grinderman will love. A certain 80's flare throughout really makes me remember what a great band The Motels were, how fantastic Martha Davis sang. Fits in with the plethora of great female fronted fuzzy dream rock as well.
