– General Description: Double Sextet was composed by Steve Reich in 2007 for a single sextet of strings, winds, and vibraphone performing with a tape of itself (as in Violin Phase). Bradley Lubman with Ensemble Signal records it here using 12 live musicians. Radio Rewrite was composed by Steve Reich in 2013 for 11 instruments, close to the ensemble heard in the Double Sextet. Recommended for both Reich and Radiohead fans. NOTE: This is really two long compositions. Tracks 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 all stop WHAM! in mid-thought play non-stop tracks 1-3 and 4-8 to make any musical sense.
