On The Hi Fi Vol. 2
Reviewed by BravoMarco
Cassette release following on from the 7” Vol. 1 of 2015 - A collection of day-dreamy experimental sounds with that certain warm glow. Lo fi lounge-chair sitting happiness.
Like: A stripped down Tasseomancy, Bardo Pond – maybe.
Very nice.
No FCC’s
1) Ria/ Ashita Do Naru / End Of Time (4.15) Static introduces this slow escape. The three tracks blend nicely together with that 60’s psych feel leading the way
2) Ria/ Ashita Do Naru / End Of Time (33rpm) (5.44) Slowed down & working wonders. Drift away to this…
3) You Know Why / Embassy / Correspondent (4.29) Sparse atmospheric moods with effected vocals. More fuzzy & glitchy than the previous track.
4) You Know Why / Embassy / Correspondent (33rpm) (6.03) Even better at this slower pace with the inclusion of the true vocals.
