The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, one of American’s best known choral ensembles, sings a wide variety of Christmas favorites from classical hymns like Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” and Schubert’s “Ave Maria” to popular yuletide favorites like Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas,” Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride,” and the traditional songs “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Silent Night,” and “The First Noel.” The recording spans several decades of the choir’s recordings and features guest artists and conductors including Marilyn Horne and Leonard Bernstein.
