JAZZ GUITAR – CHRISTMAS
Jazz guitarist Dave Stryker gives us a “bonus” single for the holidays. His hollow-body electric Gibson is backed by vibraphone, organ, and drums. No FCC issues.
1 ** Mid-slow to start; then speeds up a bit. A cool, toe-tapping instrumental version of the popular carol, “O Tannenbaum” (“Oh Christmas Tree”), with a nice, easy swing. Good solos by guitar, organ, and vibes. Steady drums. (5:21)
