Muirhead, Al
Mr. Muirhead pulls together the cream of the Canadian jazz scene in five different ensembles. They play sets of old standards as...old standards. If you're tired of listening to yet another band's interpretation of some old chestnut, give this a spin. At 81, Muirhead still has it. The solos are sparse but beautiful. There is an occasional female vocal.
