Review: several influences (tributaries) course through this excellent disc of modern jazz. Pianist Clayton has a solid quartet augmented by several guests who enhance whatever vision he has for each track. Some tracks are solos. All are originals.
If You Like: McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter
Favorite Tracks: (2) Patients Patience (3) Search For (4) A Light (6) Envisionings (9) Wakeful (11) Are We
