BLUES-ROCK collaboration of seasoned and talented virtuosos. This record is gold, with all songs pretty good and some great. Some zydeco, some boogies, a lot of old school country, rock and blues. Danceable, drivable, drinkable. RIYL Alvin Bros., North Mississippi Allstars, Luther Dickinson, Clutch? Track 4 (kinda?) has an FCC.
1. (2:17) **** Fast, driving rockabilly w/ a catchy, succinct refrain.
2. (3:43) *** Upbeat, swingin’ early country/rock.
3. (3:15) **** Medium, tough rock groove.
4. (2:32) ***** (FCC? “Muthafuyyah”) Stellar Zydeco groove.
5. (2:43) *** Fast, driving rock emulating Clutch.
6. (2:48) *** Early country rock.
7. (2:40) *** Fast, loud rocker.
