Classic Willie that we all know and love, created as an album, with each tune unique. Unlike some of his past music, where his trademark voice dominates and doesn’t vary much in quality, on this album Willie seems to really emote and be lyrical, bringing out a gentle, tender and loving quality in him. He continues to be a valued American icon and being the inspiration for a Ben & Jerry’s flavor (Country Peach Cobbler) proves it! Best for me: 1, 3, 5, 7,8, 9, really all good. Willie in love!
1. med – upbeat song about the little house on the hill
2. slow – lament about life with lyrics all too true
3. slow – gentle love song willie style
4. med – upbeat country rock
5. slow – no one understands women like willie
6. slow – classic country ballad
7. slow – Willie’s voice floats & emotes
8. med – upbeat song w/ great lyrics about being still not dead
9. slow – interesting, progressive rock sound
10. slow – country rock with Willie’s distinctive voice
11. slow/med – country rock about lady luck
