Another top-notch effort from one of bluegrass’s best contemporary bands.
Excellent song selections, and stellar vocals and instrumentation. These guys
just keep getting better!
1 – (2:41) Wrong Road Again* Mid-tempo bluegrass stomp, terrific.
2 – (2:53) As Lonesome As I Am* Mid-up love lament, fine playing & vocals!
3 – (4:08) Mayhayley’s House* Moody mid-tempo ode to a seer, modal tuning.
4 – (3:54) Old Coyote Town Slow, wistful song about town, family passed by time.
5 – (2:44) Blackbirds And Crows* Terrific mid dark tale of deception & murder, excellent.
6 – (1:55) Ida Red* Fine mid-up-tempo love song, fun.
7 – (3:37) Diggin’* Another great mid stomp about struggle & persistence, nice.
8 – (3:35) As The Crow Flies* Slower love tribute, full of longing, lovely.
