(CLEAN) 12. Torae -YGB f. Nick Grant & TOY !!! - Internal Affairs Ent: [92 BPM] Torae is not the first to rock the iconic sample from Albert King “I'll Play the Blues for You” (Stax 1972). Torae is revisiting the 1989 track from Big Daddy Kane “Young Gifted & Black” that incorporates the same Albert King sample. Punchy drums and the loop has a little MPC style chop/rework to it to give it that 2017 updated style. Nice NYC underground. – M-SMOOTH
