Review: one of the godfathers of free jazz returns with a 20-piece orchestra for full out experimental dialogue between instruments. "Discussions" is an apt title.

Review (favorites denoted by *):
*1/ Cascade (4:26) - trumpet starts with weird space noises> slow tempo jam> more instruments join in the conversation, like a party with new guests arriving> builds in volume and slows as they leave
2/ I'll See You Out There (6:41) - horns open> slow tempo jam> melody shift with drums pounding> trumpet soars and slows to fade
*3/ Discussions (9:37) - flute starts> slow tempo jam slowly builds with new instruments coming in> the conversation grows heated as if an argument has ensued> slow to fade
4/ Cracked Roses (5:07) - drums start> instruments arrive in short bursts> slow build to midtempo jam with horns up front> fade
*5/ Discussions II (8:11) - heavy piano chords like menacing clouds with lightning bolts of other instruments striking starts> calamitous jam with several instruments morphs into an off-kilter dialog between trumpet, flute, electronics, drums, & Bowed bass> conversation slows to stop
6/ Frenzy House (6:49) - horns start like announcing the king> off-kilter jam with flute & electronics> false stop> uptempo musical conversation slows to midtempo almost classical> false stop> uptempo off-kilter jam> quick stop
7/ Home Screen (2:04) - flutes start like a flock of birds> midtempo jam & stop
*8/ Who Dat (22:33) - electronics/ trumpet space jam start> multiple instruments join in conversation in a midtempo jam> morphs into a space jam with electronics, trumpet, & percussion>trumpet solo interspersed with electronic & other instruments> false stop? noises like signals from space> midtempo jam with electronics adding sounds> false stop>slow drun/piano duet with electronic space noise morphs into uptempo multi-insrtumentjam> fade on drums
