Labor of love by talented singer Eva Salina to resurrect a Roma diva from the past and breathe new life into her songs, written in Romanes and Serbian; Salina is accompanied by Peter Stan, an accomplished accordionist; together they conjure a lost era of smoky East European cafe society
NO FCC's; Favorite tracks: 4, 6, 7
1-Pusti Me Da Zivim –5:10—virtuoso accordionist plays around Eva's voice; fairly quiet song but the accordion adds flashes of humor and brilliance
2—E Laute Basalen Taj Roven –4:41-- faster tempo makes this almost danceable; modulating tune is interesting; accordion makes it more interesting; Eva just vocalizes for latter part with accordion following
3-- Ostala Je Pesma Moja –3:59 -- low key accordion intro and then accordion flourishes weave in and out of Salina's song which doesn't have a lot of pitch range
*4 –Cerma Devla Cirikli –4:45 – peppiness of accordion contrasts with somewhat lugubrious song which then picks up and sounds almost happy
5—Namarma Dileja –2:55 – minor key with modulations; fairly slow
*6 –Aven, Aven Romalen –3:41 – quicker with interesting interplay between singer and accordionist
*7—E Dadeci Cajori –6:07 – most expressive song
8—Ostala ---2:07-- trumpet plus accordion instrumental
