Review: Consummate drummer Erskine, a former Weather Report member, has always shown an inclination for electric jazz fusion. Commanding The Dr. Um Band with metrical depth and angular vision, he presents a stellar two disc set full of electronic wizardry. The first disc is new tunes in the studio, and the second disc is a live date showcasing previously recorded tunes.
