Philly-based trio Hurry released their last full-length album, Guided Meditation, back in 2016. Today they share the follow-up, Every Little Thought, along with a video of the three listening along. The record sits somewhere between indie-pop and emo, joining sunny melodies with lazy, longing vocals. Surf-rock sounds warm Matt Scottoline’s sugary introspection on the title track.

Play: 2, 5, 7, 10
.Every Little Thought (5:06) - Lean-sounding rhythm guitars, aching vocal melodies featuring lots of extended notes.
.Read Between The Lines (3:10) - Tightly wound bundle of jangling guitars and reticence.
.Waiting For You (3:22) - Angelic vocal register jumps and ascending guitar phrasing.
.Hanging On (5:05) - Captivating acoustic guitar with lots of chorus and reverb pasted on.
.On The Streets (3:32) - About as close as Hurry gets to punk rock’s pace.
.Heatwave (4:02) - Dreamy track, jangling acoustic strumming and melodic interplay.
.Time and Time Again (3:10) - Delicious slice of breezy dream-pop.
.Separation (4:05) - Guitar flourishes, slinky bass lines, and perfectly-placed drum fills.
.Jamie (3:33) - Standout song, great bass and drum work.
.The One I Want (3:58) - Bass leads monophonic guitars as the tactful reservation of the band’s volume is definitively revealed.
