First release in seven years from one of the great and overlooked slowcore bands. Mix of big ‘80s sounds and post-rock textures—bandleader Dan Burton originally trained with U2 and Dylan producer Daniel Lanois. For a handful of people who’ve passed through KZSU, new Early Day Miners music is a big deal. RIYL Low, Songs: Ohia, Bluetile Lounge. Their older albums are amazing. No FCCs detected.
1. (5:31)—Slow. Thick keyboards, deep bass, bombastic singing. Slow to build but dramatic.
