Fusion album title reflects background of Yani Vozos from Eastern Kentucky and Marlon Obando from Nicaragua who started this Louisville-based band; lyrics are mostly Spanish, but some English as well; nice instrumentals on the arrangements from band members and guest players; vocals interspersed with instrumental pieces; mostly original with some classic Latin
NO FCC's; Favorite Tracks: 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, *10 (bluegrass version of Guantanamera)
1—Primavera (4:00) – half rock with distorted guitar, half Latin; unison singing
*2 – Reina de mi corazon (4:23) – salsa type beat; flute and horn flourishes; solo singer with some harmonizing
3 –Vida (4:16) – guitar and flute backed solo voice
*4—Pituco (3:55) –Andean pipes and guitar; catchy
5—Flow Like A River (3:33) – English lyrics with lots of instrument-backing; lovely flute accents
*6—Vos me das (3:14)-- harmony and rhythmic singing with banjo (?) and harmonica; really comes together
7 –Sweet Song of My Soul (3:37) – English lyrics with more great flute playing
*8 –Echo (4:14) – Andean vibe; very pretty instrumental with charango and guitar
*9-Moliendo Cafe (3:45) – more Andean flavor on this Venezuelan classic
**10—Guantanamera (3:34) – bluegrass version with lyrics in Spanish and English; unusual; very fast with charango, banjo, fiddle
