Out of the Blues – Boz Scaggs (2018)
Even after all these years Scaggs has what it takes to produce
a rock solid blues release. That silky smooth, yet heartfelt delivery is
still there as is his ability to hit the high notes all while exuding Dave
Alvin like grit (make no mistake, this is a 100% blues disk). Throw in
a crack rhythm section, solid horns and harmonica and you have a release
in which every track is worth playing.
