Three tracks from our very local (ex-KZSU management) favorites. Primo noise rock, improv backbone drum bass guitar with heavy efx, subtle organ/synth, with voice over, spoken word regarding timely housing and transportation issues, BART etc. Long tracks, pick either. The first contains the spoken word, commentary, and if I am not mistaken the second has heavily treated BART noise. These guys just get better and better.
1) (23:05) gorgeous brittle drone begins this, after ~5 min a good solid beat appears after evolving, at 9 min a voiceover appears, spoken word all about local housing issues and public transportation, ~5 min, then it returns ~20 minutes in, lots of pitched changed noise guitar and effects, killer 2) (17:11) nice noise bass precludes a lovely synth drone, a non-straight beat appears and the bass has a walking jazz feel as the pitch changed noise guitar comes in, the walk becomes more of a lilted plod, elements of casio drums, then stilted 2/4 marching snare, meandering and tripped out completely 3) (7:17) analog synth led, driven avant noise freakout
