Review: Bailey, the legendary falsetto voice of Earth, Wind & Fire, calls on some famous friends for his twelfth solo outing in the continuum of mashing R&B with jazz. Even when he isn’t using his trademark falsetto, Bailey’s voice is still unique and smooth amid an almost spacey-sounding soundtrack with liquid bass and ambient grooves. The overall sound and style reminds listeners of the 1970s & the CTI label.
If You Like: Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Jimmy Scott
