Connecticut man/woman duo that plays a brand of heavy rock that feels like its spoofing the listener: elements of faux death metal throw us in the first track, then a nod to Dolly Partons “Jolene” in the second track. Third track of this single belies the seriousness of this band, as it’s a silly spontaneous thing that Daniel Johnston may have concocted. Great stuff.
