Classic Thom Yorke magic. A dizzying, dystopian, alphabet soup. Raw anguished vocals, sparse low-end electronics, and cold, bleak, atmospheric rinses. Astonishing. Start with 5, 8, 9, 4, 1 FCC Clean
(*1.) (5:18) Throbbing bassline with tendrils of static and clicky snares/high-hats. Vulnerable yet groovy vocals (2.) (5:07) Warm synth pulses with white-knuckle muttered vocals. Builds to an orchestral climax with smooth arcing strings (3.) (7:03) Gyrating chopped up vocals samples over a murky, intense beat (*4.) (5:23) Muttured dystopian lyrics over a bed of synth plodding and smooth orchestral elements. Suspenseful and emotional (*5.) (3:45) Layered vocals over a shimmery synth beat driven by subtle guitar, bass, and steady percussion (6.) (3:57) Minimal pingy beat with pained, grief-stricken vocals. Gorgeous orchestral swell at the two-minute mark adds a cascade of intensity (7.) (6:59) Slow dizzying beats, hand-wrung vocals (*8.) (4:20) Percussion heavy with a driving strummy bass and soaring vocals (*9.) (5:57) Ringing guitar intro. Hard-hitting glitch beat with distorted vocals and gorgeous cascading piano. Beautiful uplifting instrumental outro
