Heavy psych folk, appropriately named, from the Northeast. Female spoken vocals, trippy dippy. Dusted Mag: “Come on, man, what if Jerry Garcia and Bobby Weir crashed one of those record store Frippertronics concerts and jammed with Fripp well past closing time? What if Florian Fricke got some fire in his belly and crashed the Hash Jar Tempo sessions? If these events had transpired and someone had hit the record button, you might have an LP like this.”
1) (6:51) very chill start with psych synth and a banjo of all things, a female spoken poem soon appears but doesn’t stay for long as the piece remains a cerebral drone 2)* (13:02) a very chill, sparse guitar and bass, mindful peaceful and hypnotic 3) (5:10) chill with piano and wailing guitar tone, but still very chill 4)* (8:31) more of an electric feel, some extreme flanger on the guitar, very trippy dippy hippy with a flute, but piano and spaciness avoids such horror of the hippie 5) (4:28) another quiet pleasant piece, dominated by nice piano playing, flute melodies
